The King and His Son

The King and His Son

By David G. McAfee

Once upon a time, there was a powerful and benevolent king. He ruled with grace and love over his subjects and, without him, he assured them that they would surely perish. For all of his grace, the king demanded only worship from his subjects, and little more. Continue reading

The Bible exists today in hundreds of variations and languages, some with entirely different meanings. The “Bible” is composed of canonical scriptures and books that have been added and removed over time, by various Christian authorities. Christmas Evolving: Secularizing the Holidays

We have all heard about the “Take ‘Christ’ out of Christmas’ Movement”, but in some ways it feels as if it would be a crime to do so; after all Jesus Christ and Santa Claus do have a lot in common: they are both benevolent figures, both perform miracles, and neither of them actually exist!
